Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sales and Use for the London 2012 Olympic Games (hereinafter "Terms and Conditions"). The terms and conditions on the back of the Ticket constitute the simplified version of these Terms and Conditions. Please read this complete version carefully.
Anyone who purchases, holds or uses or attempts to use a Ticket shall be deemed irrevocably and unconditionally as having read, understood and accepted and agreed to be unconditionally bound by all and each and every one of the Terms and Conditions herein.
1. Definitions
1.1 LOCOG means London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and Olympic Games Ltd, its directors, officers, managers, employees, agents, assignees and volunteers.
1.2 Ceremony means the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.
1.3 Event means any competition of the London 2012 Olympic Games for which Tickets are sold by parties authorised by LOCOG.
1.4 IOC means the International Olympic Committee, its directors, officers, managers, employees, agents, assignees and volunteers.
1.5 KSG means Kingdom Sports Group Pty Ltd ACN 128 201 294 its directors, officers, managers, employees, agents, licensees, volunteers, heirs, successors and assigns.
1.6 Olympic Games means the London 2012 Olympic Games unless otherwise provided.
1.7 Session means the Ceremony and/or any session of any Event.
1.8 Ticket is the ticket to a Session, including Day Pass unless otherwise provided.
1.9 Venues are any place at which any Session is conducted or Event held.
1.10 You (or "you") means anyone who purchases, holds or uses a Ticket.
2. Details about the Tickets and Sessions
2.1 All spectators, regardless of age, must have a valid Ticket to enter a Venue.
2.2 You must purchase a valid Ticket only from LOCOG or third parties authorised by LOCOG. If you acquire a Ticket through or by any other means including but not limited to unauthorised channels (i.e., other than through LOCOG or third parties authorised by LOCOG), you will assume the risk that such Ticket could be previously lost or missing, stolen, counterfeited, damaged, illegible or obtained through other illegal means. In such case, you may be refused entry into the Venue or be requested to leave the Venue without receiving a refund nor a substitution.
2.3 You cannot resell or trade your Ticket. You cannot use the Ticket for any political, religious, commercial, advertising or promotional purposes (for example, as prizes for competitions, etc.), except as expressly authorised by LOCOG.
2.4. All Ticket sales are final. No change to or cancellation of a Ticket Order by an Account Holder or exchange of any Tickets will be permitted after a Ticket Order has been completed, except as specifically authorised and facilitated by LOCOG.
2.5 LOCOG reserves the right to change the date, time, participants and other relevant details of all and any Sessions and LOCOG will give prior notice where reasonably able to do so.
2.6 LOCOG has the right to invalidate any Ticket for any reason at any time.
2.7 You must sit in the seat designated on your ticket. If there is no seat number, please sit at the designated area after entering into the Venue. The Ticket is only good for one admission into a Venue. Once you have entered a Venue, if you then leave the Venue for any reason you will be prohibited from re-entering that Venue for that Session.
2.8 LOCOG reserves the right to cancel Tickets LOCOG determines in LOCOG’s sole and absolute discretion to have been obtained from an unauthorised Ticket reseller or are in the hands of an unauthorised Ticket reseller and to terminate the license granted by a Ticket obtained from or in the hands of an unauthorised Ticket reseller and in any such case no refund shall be made in respect of such Tickets. This includes tickets purchased from scalpers, street sellers, touts, black market vendors, unauthorised on-line vendors, or any other source not expressly authorised by LOCOG. You may be arrested and LOCOG may legally prosecute you for being in possession of Tickets not purchased by you through LOCOG authorised channels or from LOCOG authorised ticket resellers.
3. Ticket Refund
3.1 You may not apply for, and will not be entitled to replace your Ticket nor receive any refunds whatsoever except as expressly specified by LOCOG.
3.1.1 In the event that you are refused entry into or requested to leave a Venue for failure to comply with any of these Terms and Conditions, LOCOG and KSG shall not be liable for any loss or damage occasion to You by reason of such refusal and you will not be entitled to a replacement or any refund or any compensation for your Ticket or travel or ancillary attendance costs.
3.1.2 If the start time or the end time of a Session is changed, but the Session is completed on the originally scheduled day, you will not be entitled to a replacement or refund or compensation for your Ticket.
3.1.3 If a Session is postponed or re-scheduled to another day, the Ticket shall be valid for the postponed or re-scheduled date, and you will not be entitled to a replacement or refund or compensation for your Ticket.
3.1.4 If a Session begins but does not finish, and LOCOG declares that the Session is officially terminated, you will not be entitled to a replacement or refund or compensation for your Ticket.
3.1.5 If there are changes to the schedule or participants of a Session, you will not be entitled to a replacement or refund or compensation for your Ticket.
3.2 Only LOCOG shall be entitled to determine if there should be possible refunds. In any case in which you are entitled to a refund, LOCOG will only refund the face value of the Ticket; interest thereon will not be paid. You may obtain a refund by following LOCOG’s specified refund process, and no other. You are not entitled to any refund or compensation if you do not attend or are unable to attend a Session for personal reasons.
3.3 Under any of the following circumstances, LOCOG may refuse your admission or request you to leave the Venue, and you will not be entitled to a refund or compensation or any claim or replacement for your Ticket:
3.3.1 You fail to comply with any of these Terms and Conditions;
3.3.2 You refuse any security inspection of your person or possessions;
3.3.3 You disturb or interfere with the smooth and orderly progression of the Olympic Games or any Event or Session;
3.3.4 You disturb or infringe upon other people's enjoyment of the Session, or their comfort or safety;
3.3.5 Your Ticket is one that has been previously missing, lost by or stolen from someone else, or is counterfeit, damaged or illegible;
3.3.6 Your Ticket was purchased through illegal or unauthorized channels; or
3.3.7 LOCOG reasonably suspects any of the foregoing.
3.4 Neither LOCOG nor KSG shall be responsible for any claims, damages, losses or expenses of whatsoever nature howsoever arising from the cancellation or alteration of the Olympic Games or any Event or any Session.
3.5 Neither LOCOG nor KSG shall be liable or responsible for any loss whatsoever if you cannot enter the Venue because your Ticket is lost, stolen, non-genuine, missing, illegible, destroyed or invalidated for any other reason.
4. Regulations about Access to and Attendance in the Venues
4.1 You are required to pay the maximum attention and exert the maximum prudence in the Venue for the safety of both yourself and any children accompanying you, and to comply with the warnings and the norms of behaviour published in or in the proximity of the Venue. Neither LOCOG nor KSG shall be responsible for the consequences of your imprudent or negligent or non-compliant behaviour.
4.2 You shall be responsible at all times for the safety of both yourself and any children accompanying you.
4.3 You shall be responsible for the property, belongings and valuables of both yourself and any children accompanying you.
4.4 The Venue usually opens prior to the start time of a Session. Before travelling to the Venue, you will check the start time of the Event or the Ceremony, the opening time of the Venue, the security inspection times and public transportation information to ensure that you will be able to enter the Venue on time. You expressly consent, as a mandatory condition for access to a Venue, to a security inspection of both yourself and your property before your entry to the Venue and during the Session. The security checks may include a body search, and inspection of baggage or other objects owned or carried by both yourself and any children accompanying you. Please allow ample time for traffic and security inspections and enter the Venue as early as possible. You solely shall be responsible for managing all time frames to travel to and attend any Session or any Ceremony.
4.5 To the maximum extent permitted by all applicable laws and regulations, you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally release KSG, LOCOG, and the IOC (including their directors, officers, employees, consultants, contractors, agents and volunteers, heirs successors and assigns), individually or in combination thereof, from any liability for any damage, loss, liability or injury of whatsoever nature howsoever arising whensoever that you may suffer in relation to your travelling to and attendance at the Olympic Games or any aspect thereof, howsoever caused.
4.6 You agree to indemnify and keep fully indemnified both at law and in equity LOCOG and/or KSG for all and any damage, loss, expense, or harm suffered by LOCOG and/or KSG and/or any third party due to your wilful misconduct, negligence or breach of any of these terms and conditions.
4.7 To enter and remain in a Venue, you agree that shall expressly comply with the following provisions:
4.7.1 You unconditionally accept and comply with each and every one of these Terms and Conditions.
4.7.2 You agree to security inspections of your person and your baggage and other objects owned or carried by both yourself and any children accompanying you.
4.7.3 You must not disturb the tranquillity and/or safety of others within a Venue.
4.7.4 Your Ticket must not be lost, missing, stolen, counterfeited, damaged or illegible.
4.7.5 You irrevocably warrant that your Ticket has not been purchased from an unauthorised person or entity.
4.8 You must not interrupt or disturb or attempt to interrupt or disturb the normal carrying out of the Olympic Games.
4.9 You must abide by all policies, announcements or instructions issued by LOCOG and/or KSG relevant to attending the Olympic Games. To ensure the security and the smooth and orderly progression of the Olympic Games, you must abide by all the instructions of Venue personnel, including, without limitation, submitting to security checks and showing your Ticket.
4.10 A Ticket to a Session is a revocable license to the Ticket Bearer from LOCOG to be a spectator at that Session. You must comply with the Venue Code of Conduct applicable to that Venue, and LOCOG reserves the unrestricted right to terminate the license granted by a Ticket, without cause and for any reason, immediately and without having to make any refund to the Ticket Bearer or to any other Person. All disputes concerning a Ticket to a Session and the Account Holder's or Ticket Bearer's rights thereunder and all other disputes and matters whatsoever arising under, in connection with or incident to this Agreement (including disputes relating to Ticket Orders and attendance by a Ticket Bearer at any Session and all other matters covered by this Agreement) shall be governed by the Laws of the United Kingdom as are in force from time to time and shall be litigated, if at all, in and before a court of competent jurisdiction located in London , England, to the exclusion of the courts of any other city, province or country and by purchasing a Ticket you hereby irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of such Courts.
4.11 LOCOG reserves the right to re-assign a Ticket Bearer's seat location, if any, to a comparable location in the event of any Venue or Session related logistical reason.
5. Restricted or Prohibited Items and Behaviour
5.1 You agree that you will not take any of the following articles into or to any Venue:
5.1.1 Beverages (whether in soft or hard containers, except for medical reasons) and food, unless expressly authorised by LOCOG;
5.1.2 Breakable articles, glassware, or any containers; musical instruments, including, without limitation, whistles, trumpets and drums;
5.1.3 Carry-on bags, suitcases and handbags which are too big to fit completely under the seats;
5.1.4 Flag poles, flags of countries or regions not participating in the Olympic Games, flags larger than 2×1 meters in size; any signs, banners, posters, leaflets or displays;
5.1.5 Balls, rackets, frisbees and similar articles;
5.1.6 Any unauthorised professional photography or recording equipment;
5.1.7 Knives, bats, long-handle umbrellas, long poles, tripods or monopods for cameras and video cameras, and any other objects that may potentially cause harm to people;
5.1.8 Animals (except for those expressly authorised by LOCOG, such as guide-dogs for visually impaired persons);
5.1.9 Transportation vehicles, devices or equipment (other than strollers and wheelchairs);
5.1.10 Unauthorised walky-talkies, loudspeakers, radios, laser devices or wireless devices that will interfere with the electronic signals of the Games;
5.1.11 Any restricted weapons and equipment as guns, ammunition, firearms, tasers, crossbows, nunchucks, knives, box-cutters, razors, daggers; explosives, devices to use with explosives, any combustibles as fuel, fireworks, firecrackers and other flammable materials; and any such articles prohibited by British laws and regulations as corrosive chemicals and radioactive materials.
5.2 The following behaviours shall be deemed inappropriate and prohibited within the Venue:
5.2.1 Sitting in an area or seat not designated by your Ticket;
5.2.2 Smoking in a non-smoking area;
5.2.3 Crossing over a guardrail, treading on chairs or throwing articles onto the playing field or spectator areas;
5.2.4 Carrying strollers or wheelchairs into non-wheelchair areas;
5.2.5 Entering areas not open to spectators, such as areas designated for distinguished guests, work areas or playing fields;
5.2.6 Opening an umbrella in spectator areas or standing for a long time so as to block others' views or disturb others;
5.2.7 Purposefully exhibiting or publicising unauthorised commercial marks or symbols on your clothing or accessories; coordinating group wear of clothing with the same or similar design patterns, combinations of colours or commercial marks or symbols;
5.2.8 Other behaviour which distracts the attention of athletes, technical officials or coaches, or affect the smooth and orderly progress of the Session or disturb other spectators attending the Session, including, without limitation, entering the Venue in an obviously intoxicated state, or disobeying the orders of Venue personnel.
5.3 The following behaviour is prohibited in all Venues: surrounding and assaulting the referees, athletes or other working personnel; any kind of gambling or betting; leading and/or taking part in a parade, protesting or having a sit-in or demonstration, causing a commotion, getting drunk, being affected by or using prohibited drugs or substances, streaking, and any other behaviour or conduct which disturbs the smooth and orderly progression of the Games or violate British laws and regulations.
5.4 TICKET BEARERS ASSUME ALL RISKS AND DANGERS INCIDENTAL TO EACH SESSION, WHETHER AT AN OUTDOOR VENUE OR AN INDOOR VENUE, and whether occurring prior to, during or after the Session, including, among other things, injuries caused by other spectators. By requesting admission to a Venue and presenting a Ticket, a Ticket Bearer acknowledges that there are inherent risks involved in travelling to and being present at both outdoor and indoor Venues, such as changing weather conditions, variations or steepness in terrain, distances between transportation drop-off and parking locations and the Venue locations, mud, snow or ice conditions, surface or subsurface conditions such as bare spots, forest growth, rocks, stumps, lift towers and other structures and their components, collisions with athletes, volunteers, LOCOG employees or other spectators, sporting equipment, pucks, hockey sticks, javelins, arrows, shots, balls, and other flying objects or flying debris in spectator areas, or injury from high decibel level noises or bright lights, and THE TICKET BEARER EXPRESSLY ASSUMES ALL SUCH RISKS AND DANGERS. A Ticket Bearer also assumes all risks that a Session may be postponed or cancelled without such Ticket Bearer viewing any particular athlete. A Ticket Bearer also ASSUMES ALL RISKS OF PROPERTY LOSS AT ANY VENUE. A Ticket Bearer may refer to the LOCOG website (www.london2012.com) for more information about the Venues.
5.5 Ticket Bearers agree that Tickets and admission to any Session shall not be used to allow a Ticket Bearer to engage in political, commercial, advertising or other promotional activities. Ticket Bearers may not solicit contributions or distribute literature or fliers or promotional merchandise at any Venue, or wear or bring offensive, political, advertising or other promotional or other commercial items or clothing into a Venue. Entry to a Venue will not be granted to any Ticket Bearer who is wearing or carrying any form of offensive, political, commercial, advertising or promotional message. Religious and racial propaganda and demonstrations are prohibited inside or in proximity to a Venue perimeter. Violators will be subject to removal from a Venue without a refund.
5.6. As a condition to receiving a Ticket and entry to a Venue, each Ticket Bearer grants permission to the IOC, LOCOG, and third parties authorised by them, without requirement of the payment of money or other form of consideration, to use photographs, film, tape or other images or likenesses of such Ticket Bearer incidental to any live or recorded video display or other transmission or reproduction in whole or in part of the event to which the Ticket admits him/her, and further authorises the use of the holder's image or likeness in perpetuity in connection with the promotion of the Olympic Movement and of the Olympic Games. Each Ticket Bearer agrees that images and sounds of the Games, the Olympics, and the Cultural Olympiad obtained by such Ticket Bearer with cameras, video and/or audio devices or other means will not be used or exploited in whole or in part for dissemination, broadcast, publication or any other commercial purposes under any circumstances, whether on the Internet or otherwise.
5.7 The following is a partial list of prohibited and restricted items and activities within any Venue: dangerous or disruptive behaviour (including, without limitation, public drunkenness, fighting, threatening venue staff, spitting, throwing objects onto the field of play and/or public seating area), gambling, smoking, broadcasting or recording through the use of cellular phones or other recording or transmitting devices (e.g., two-way radios, recording devices, or video cameras), use of flash photography or other lighting devices (e.g., laser pens, etc.), strollers, sleds, bottles, glass containers, cans, coolers, ice chests, food and beverages (including alcoholic beverages) brought into the Venue, weapons (including knives) and fireworks, illegal drugs, prescription strength medicines not validly prescribed for the Ticket Bearer by a physician, poles, banners, large flags, large flag poles, flags other than those of participating countries, animals of any kind (except LOCOG permitted animals), signage of any nature, bicycles, balls, Frisbees, helmets (e.g., motorcycle, bicycle, sport, etc) , and noisemaking devices that in the opinion of LOCOG might disrupt the Session or be disturbing to other spectators. Storage is not available at any Venue. LOCOG has the exclusive right to determine what objects may be brought into a Venue by a Ticket Bearer.
5.8 Any person (except for a sworn police officer or other military or security personnel authorised under the laws of Great Britain) is prohibited from transporting into an Olympic Venue any firearm, ammunition, dangerous weapon, explosive, chemical or incendiary device. Any person who is found to be in possession of any of the above noted item(s), will have the item(s) seized and may be subject to arrest and/or prosecution.
5.9 Anyone found to have illegally entered a Venue will be detained and/or arrested for further investigation and may face criminal charges under British law.
5.10 Ticket Bearers found with prohibited items or found misusing restricted items inside a Venue are subject to having the items confiscated. LOCOG will have no obligation to return confiscated items, and LOCOG will have no liability for the value of any confiscated items. Any Ticket Bearer found with prohibited items or found misusing restricted items is also subject to being removed from the Venue without a refund to such Ticket Bearer or to his or her associated Account Holder. Any Ticket Bearer found with illegal items may be referred to local authorities for investigation and prosecution.
5.11 All Ticket Bearers must consent to inspection for prohibited and restricted items, and also consent to any other security checks implemented by LOCOG. All Ticket Bearers agree to abide by all other rules and safety regulations established by LOCOG at each Venue (in addition to that Venue’s Code of Conduct). Any Ticket Bearer refusing inspection or otherwise refusing to abide by LOCOG's rules and safety regulations may be denied entry to a Session or may be removed from a Venue, all without a refund to such Ticket Bearer or to his or her associated Account Holder.
5.12 Ticket Bearers must retain their Ticket at all times while attending the Session, and Tickets must be produced for inspection upon request of LOCOG authorised staff. Failure to do so may result in eviction from the Venue.
5.13 LOCOG reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any Ticket Bearer who fails to comply with any Venue Codes of Conduct and with the terms and conditions of this Agreement or who in the opinion of LOCOG is disruptive to the Session or to the enjoyment, comfort or safety of other spectators. There will be no refund to such Ticket Bearer or to his or her associated Account Holder.
5.14 A Ticket Bearer will only be granted one admission to a Session per Ticket. If a Ticket Bearer desires to leave a Venue for any reason, a re-entry pass to the Venue will not be available or allowed.
5.15 LOCOG reserves the right to from time to time change the Venue Code of Conduct in respect of any Venue.
6 Photography or Recordings in the Venue
6.1 You consent to be photographed, filmed or taped by LOCOG, the IOC or their authorised third parties. LOCOG, the IOC or their authorised third parties shall have the right to broadcast, publish, license or use any photographs, films, recordings or images of you without any compensation. The IOC, LOCOG, the third parties and anyone acquiring from them the right to use the material are not liable to you in any way for its use.
6.2 Images, videos and sound recordings of the Olympic Games taken by you with a camera, video camera or audio equipment or any other kind of equipment may not be used for any purpose other than for private, domestic and non-commercial purposes (e.g., you may not sell, license, broadcast, publish, or otherwise commercially exploit such images, videos or sound recordings), unless expressly authorised by LOCOG.
7. Transport Information
7.1 During the Olympic Games period, you may present your Ticket to travel for free on the date marked on your Ticket by such public transport as advised by LOCOG.
7.2 When using your Ticket for travelling you must present your Ticket to the bus driver or the conductor for checking. You are responsible for finding the location of the appropriate Venue and checking public transportation information. If you hold Tickets for different Sessions on the same day, you agree to set aside more than enough time to commute between each Venue, and pass through security inspections and Ticket checking. You must abide by all the rules posted in the public transportation vehicle and in the Venue.
8. Personal Data Protection
8.1 LOCOG and KSG will keep any personal data provided by Ticket holders strictly confidential. Such data will only be used for dealing with the Ticket applications and Ticket checking.
8.2 To ensure your Ticket purchase and your smooth entry into the Venue, you hereby expressly agree and consent that KSG and LOCOG or any third party authorised by LOCOG or KSG can keep and process your personal data as needed.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability and Scope of Agreement
9.1 TICKET BEARER ASSUMES ALL RISKS AND DANGERS INCIDENTAL TO EACH EVENT, WHETHER AT AN OUTDOOR VENUE OR AN INDOOR VENUE as set out in clause 5 above, and THE TICKET BEARER EXPRESSLY ASSUMES ALL SUCH RISKS AND DANGERS, AND ALSO ASSUMES ALL RISKS OF PROPERTY LOSS AT ANY VENUE and irrevocably releases to fullest extent permitted by law both LOCOG and KSG from and against all and any claims arising out of and/or incidental to any Event, and Session or any use or attempted use of any Ticket.
9.2 Tickets to Sessions are sold by LOCOG on an "AS IS" basis without warranties or representations of any kind, either express or implied, other than those warranties that are implied by and incapable of exclusion, restriction or modification under British law. IN NO EVENT WILL LOCOG OR KSG ANY OTHER PERSON INVOLVED IN ANY WAY WITH LOCOG'S TICKETING PROGRAM BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, CLAIMED BY ANY ACCOUNT HOLDER OR ANY TICKET BEARER IN CONNECTION WITH ANY OF THE MATTERS COVERED BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, whether for breach of contract, tortious behaviour, negligence, or any other cause of action, other than the exclusive remedies expressly outlined herein.
9.3 LOCOG and KSG jointly and severally reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and from time to time, such amendment to be effective as and from the date it is posted on LOCOG's official ticketing website or on the KSG website. LOCOG reserves the right to amend the Code of Conduct applicable in respect of any Venue, such amendment to be effective as and from the date it is posted on LOCOG's official website or at the respective Venue.
10. General
10.1 These Terms and Conditions, together with the provisions printed on the back of the Ticket ("Provisions"), each as may be amended from time to time, set forth the entire agreement between you and LOCOG and KSG relating to your Tickets and your attendance at the Games and supersedes all previous written or oral agreements, understandings, dealings, and representations between the parties with respect to such subject matter.
10.2 LOCOG may, after issuing advance notice, amend, delete or add to the clauses of these Terms and Conditions (including the Provisions). In the event that any clause contained in these Terms and Conditions becomes unenforceable for any reason, such unenforceability shall not affect any other clause of these Terms and Conditions (including the Provisions).
10.3 All disputes relating to these Terms and Conditions (including the Provisions) shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the United Kingdom.

Kingdom Sports Group ("KSG") is the exclusive Authorised Ticket Reseller (“ATR”) for a number of National Olympic Committees on an exclusive basis. Although we have offices in Australia, South Africa and the UK, we are not the ATR for either Australia or South Africa or the UK and we will not offer or sell or provide tickets for the Olympic Games or travel packages that contain tickets to the Olympic Games to any residents of either of these countries or other countries where we have not been appointed the ATR.
