The 3rd edition of the African International Sport Convention (CISA) organised by Jappo S.A. based in Senegal was held in Alexandria, Egypt from 12th – 14th February. Kingdom Sports Groups Managing Director, Daniel Beniston, attended the event. The major theme of the event was to assist in the development of sport within Africa, including topics such as development, challenges and opportunities, the fight against doping, Governance and Management, sport for education and peace development, and sporting performances with case studies.
It was also the occasion to celebrate the Jappo Awards and the African Sports Hall of Fame. Winners for the African Sports Hall of Fame 2009 were:
